One of my wife’s friends recommended ‘The Boiler Hub’ to us and we’re  glad they did because we’ve used many tradespeople  over the years to renovate our home and they have been among the  best – professional, friendly and good problem solvers  when our 100-year-old home created challenges. A new  boiler, plumbing, cold water tank and shower, and all the  main work was completed in just 4-days. I’d recommend  them to anyone, and already have, to two of my  friends.

Having worked for decades in the construction sector and now running my own project management consultancy, I knew exactly what I wanted from Gary and his team, and I was pleasantly surprised that they delivered on my expectations. I explained my needs and they just got on with it. And, despite having quite firm views on process I really appreciated their input and suggestions which ultimately meant that all the plumbing and testing needed in our new extension was completed quickly, efficiently and with care and respect for our home. After my 22-year old boiler packed up I had to find someone to fit a new one. I got a few quotes, but The Boiler Hub stood out, not just because of Gary’s straight-talking, no-nonsense approach, or because his quote was very reasonable, but because of all the positive reviews I found on Check-a-trade about them. He replaced the boiler, dealing with a few challenges along the way, and even helped us with a hot water tank issue that another plumber had mucked up the installation of. Their workmanship impressed me, so I signed up to one of their servicing packages as well.

After years of dreading each time engineers were scheduled to attend my home (mainly for annual gas checks) – some good, some bad and some just plain ugly (inside and out)! I was pleasantly surprised when the following team of exceptionally, pleasant, considerate, and extremely hardworking, young men painstakingly replaced/installed a boiler and radiators throughout my home yesterday: Luke, Alex & Nathan – I forgot to get their last names! Not only were all three prompt, precise and efficient, they were incredibly respectful of my home and furnishings; they also worked tirelessly from 8am until sometime after 8 pm in order to complete the job, which enabled me to return to some form of normalcy today. These three exceptional young men are truly a credit and definitely worth their weight in gold! Their exceptional and meticulous workmanship was complemented by the builder Dave Capon, whom I was equally impressed with. I believe in giving honour where honour is due and I cannot sing their praises enough.

Gary and his team did an amazing job, I invited 4 companies to quote for the job and after some time I felt that I trusted Gary to do the job. I met with Gary and handed over the keys and let his team do the work. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness after the work was complete and the professionalism of his team. I had a small issue that wasn’t exactly related to the job and Gary himself fixed it when he could have said it was not under the planned work. Very impressed and would 100% recommend. Many thanks Gary and team for the great job. Impossible to find this quality.
