The customer’s existing system consisted of an open vented heat only boiler, hot water cylinder, with external central heating pump, 3 port motorised valve and external timer.

  • The cold water tank and feed and expansion tank were removed from the loft space.
  • A false wall was built to hide vent pipes.
  • An Ideal logic plus with 7 year warranty combination boiler was installed.
  • Cold water was converted to mains pressure as was the hot water, ideal for bath thermostatic shower mixer taps.
  • A boiler mag system filter was installed.
  • The customer now has extra cupboard space.
  • The new system is controlled via a Nest smart thermostat.
